So which Toshiba 37 LCD Television would I choose

Faced with huge choices, confusing specifications and varying prices you can see how people get confused about buying LCD TVs. What people often do is shorten the choice to say a Toshiba 37 LCD Television and then pick from there.

Well I have to say it would probably be the Toshiba 37XV555DB - apart from the ultra confusing model number (why oh why do Toshiba do this and then come out with models like the 37XV556DV!)

Which for the price I think is probably the best deal around for a 37" Toshiba LCD. The Toshiba 37XV555DB is a full HD 1080p and looks quite stunning with a HD source such as Sky. It's a very slim and stylish set and has pretty decent sound for a Toshiba 37 LCD TV.


Plenty of connections including 3 HDMI sockets make it set up for the future and if you play games it has the essential Game mode which makes video games much clearer especially in action games with fast frame rates.

The freeview is quick and simple to set up only takes a few minutes, the SD picture quality is clear and crisp. There's loads of different picture settings and that's probably the most time consuming part of setting up this Toshiba 37" LCD - it's worth getting it set up just right for your preference though.

It's been given a few best buy awards in some magazines so it's beginning to sell very quickly now. It's a cracking deal at about £460 in Amazon at time of writing I reckon it's the best value Toshiba 37 LCD Television out there at the moment.
